Biography

Educationalist with specific interest in social exclusion and children’s achievement. Accomplished classroom practitioner with experience in leading others’ research and professional development. Looking to continue to support students with barriers to progression and promote academic excellence with colleagues.

Lecturer on the PGCE Secondary Initial Teacher Education (PGCE ITE) and BA (Hons) Education and Professional Development awards. Specific responsibility for leading modules such as Evidence Based Practice Behaviour and Curriculum Design. Recently assumed lead for Research Methodologies and the Major Study, supporting others in their educational research. I undertake observations, school visits and lead on aspects of partnership working.
