Biography

I have worked at the University of Huddersfield as a Senior Lecturer in TESOL since 2009.   Before joining the University, I spent ten years working in Further Education (FE) colleges as a curriculum manager for ESOL, TESOL and Teacher Education.

I have a background and interest in both Modern Foreign Languages and ESOL.  After gaining a Master’s degree in German, I went on to take a PGCE in Modern Languages and spent several years teaching English in Austria and Germany.  On my return, I complete a Trinity Diploma in TESOL and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics.

I am currently course leader for the MA TESOL.
