Sula joined the University of Huddersfield in February 2016 as a Research Assistant in Forensic Speech Science. The role involves creating and developing the ESRC funded West Yorkshire Regional English Database (WYRED); which will become the largest forensically-realistic spoken corpora containing Northern British English accents.
She previously worked at Lancaster University as a Knowledge Exchange Support Officer, providing central financial administration support for cross-departmental externally funded projects.
Sula has an MSc in Forensic Speech Science from the University of York and a BA (Hons) Linguistics from Lancaster University.
