Biography

Tribikram Budhathoki is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and a Course Leader for the Undergraduate Marketing suite. Tribikram teaches various marketing modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He received his PhD from Loughborough University and MSc Marketing (Distinction) from the University of Hull. Tribikram holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCert in HE), and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Before joining the University of Huddersfield, Tribikram was a Post-Doctoral Researcher and Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.

Research interest

Tribikram’s research interests include Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, Brand Management, Cross-Cultural Studies, and Microbusinesses. He has published in several journals including International Marketing Review, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Journal of Business Research and Studies in Higher Education. He is a regular contributor to the European Academy of Management (EURAM), British Academy of Management (BAM), and Academy of Marketing (AM).

  • COVID-19 Research: I was commissioned as the secondary investigator to explore “How COVID-19 has Impacted Ethnic Minority Micro-Business Survivability in West Yorkshire and What Lessons can be Learned?” Value: £3,515 (Application accepted by the Huddersfield Business School May 2020)
