Biography
Vanessa Taylor joined the University of Huddersfield in 2022 as Professor of Cancer and Palliative Care and Director of Practice and Care Partnerships. Vanessa was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship in 2020.
Alongside her clinical experience with cancer, palliative and end-of-life care, Vanessa's expertise focuses on workforce development in these fields. She has led the development of national and regional career and education frameworks for the cancer, palliative and end of life care workforce. Vanessa has extensive academic experience in curriculum design and the strategic development of undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses for the health and social care professions, including advanced practice.
