Biography

Victor is investigating the international environmental laws, policies, and regulations related to the present energy transition, energy security, net-zero goals, and what it means for National Oil Companies, and specifically petroleum-rich developing countries. He has always had strong interests in international Environmental Law, Oil and Gas Law, and Contract Law as he has previous experience in a commercial role where he analysed contracts at a energy company. Victor also has experience teaching Business Law at Robert Gordon University where he obtained his Doctorate in the area of energy and natural resource law with a specific interest in National Oil Companies (NOCs) roles. Victor has been a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) since 2013. Also, a Member of the Energy Institute (EI).
