This project introduces a ground breaking approach to electromagnetic wave manipulation by developing reconfigurable meta surface devices based on Air-bridged Schottky diodes. Leveraging Tetaratech LTD's innovative diode technology, our solution addresses the critical challenge of minimising signal loss-a longstanding barrier in high-frequency(>6 GHz) telecommunications. These advanced devices promise to revolutionise beamforming, polarisation, and signal direction, laying the foundation for next-generation 5G/6G networks and the Internet of Things. These advanced meta surfaces could lead to more robust and adaptable wireless networks, significantly improving digital infrastructures' efficiency and reliability and revolutionising how we build smart, sustainable cities and enable seamless communication.
