Developing a Digital Wellbeing Screening and Monitoring Tool for the Police Service of Northern Ireland

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Policing involves exposure to high pressure and traumatic events, which can have significant impacts on mental health. This project, delivered in partnership with the Police Service of Northern Ireland, will develop a digital tool designed to provide officers and staff with immediate, personalised feedback on their wellbeing, using recognised mental health screening tools. The tool will screen for indicators of stress, anxiety, depression and trauma, and offer clear, evidence-based guidance that users can act on straight away. It will also generate high quality organisational data to strengthen wellbeing support. The tool has strong potential for wider adoption across UK policing.
