Developing compassionate leadership capabilities to improve wellbeing and productivity: a placed-based approach.

This project translates research on leadership, wellbeing and professional development into a scalable CPD offer for leaders across West Yorkshire. Through an inward secondment from compassionate leadership consultancy, Vintis, the fellowship brings together academic and practitioner expertise to co-create a compassionate leadership development programme, including teaching content and learning materials designed for leaders across the public, private and third sectors. An impact measurement framework and brief marketing and recruitment plan will be created to support future funding applications and commercialisation. The project aligns with ESRC priorities to promote workforce wellbeing and improve productivity in local and regional economies.
