Description
As part of the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) Festival of Social Science, the research conducted will generate a seminar/discussion event will draw on social science research and social work experience to provide an important opportunity to explore child sexual and exploitation and their media portrayal. We will look at what we ‘know’, what we ‘think’ and what we are ‘told’ about these issues and, drawing on social science research, how best we might understand and respond to cases of sexual abuse and exploitation.
