Description
This project will explore the practical implementation (in selected African Countries) of the Dilute Interventionism Legal and Regulatory model developed by the Principal Investigator in her recently published book titled: Corporate Regulation for Climate Change Mitigation in Africa; A Case for Dilute Interventionism. The said model is a robust legal/ regulatory model/framework for the regulation of corporate participation in climate change mitigation in Africa.
Across four outputs, the above mentioned Book ( published in September 2022) (which provides the detailed research, analysis and development of the model with a bespoke application to two African countries); and three further Articles (published April 2023) (which provides a critical analysis of the legal and regulatory regime for regulating corporate participation in Climate change mitigation of three African Countries and argues for the adoption of the Dilute Interventionism model to effectively regulate the climate change activities of corporations within the region.
