Pro7ect at Rockfield: a Songwriting Camp in the 21st Century

Pro7ect at Rockfield: A Songwriting Camp in the 21st Century translates research from the AHRC/DFG-funded SC21 into a script and sound edit for a 30-minute radio documentary. It will be pitched to BBC World Service to reach a global audience consisting of both specialists and non-specialists. The documentary utilises ambient audio and participant interviews recorded at the Pro7ect Songwriting Camp at Rockfield Studios, and demystifies the collaborative process for listeners, while promoting songwriting camps as a phenomenon. This will be publicised through the PI’s social media (Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram), the University of Huddersfield’s and BCU’s media channels.
