Remote structured-light 3D measurement prototype for precision metrology in advanced manufacturing

Precision surface form measurement is crucial for quality assurance in industries like semiconductors and electronics. However, its adoption in production lines faces challenges from harsh environments and the need for flexible control and fast speed. The aim of the proposed project is to translate our developed remote structuredlight measurement technologies into societal impact by solving metrology challenges in advance manufacturing. The research will focus on development of a remote structured-light 3D measurement prototype and evaluate its capabilities in end users to solve their contemporary measurement challenges. The research is built on the researches which have been funded by the EPSRC.
