Retrofit in Social Housing - A toolkit for warmer homes

Decarbonising the UK’s housing stock is a key part of the government’s net zero strategy and Warm Homes plan, which links home upgrades to energy efficiency and cutting fuel poverty. The University of Huddersfield and Together Housing Association have created a toolkit for use by Housing Associations and Local Authorities managing social housing. With a tenant centred focus, the toolkit streamlines planning and delivery of retrofit programmes, helps align teams, manage risks, enhances tenant experience, and supports sustainable practices and continuous learning. This proposal funds a professionally designed digital resource provides both a point of engagement and a commercial proposition for this toolkit.
