Several workshops to Sixth Form Schools, combining the presentation of the research conducted at Huddersfield University with the investigation of the perception and understanding of the youth regarding disposable vapes.

Our recently conducted research has found harmful chemicals inside disposable vapes known for producing damage to the lungs when inhaled. However, the awareness of the youth population regarding the risk of vapes and their perception and attitude towards vaping is under-researched.

These workshops not only will provide key information to our youth regarding the risk of vapes, increase their interest in science and its application in real life scenarios, but also will provide us with useful insight of their perceptions towards vapes leading to potential research outcomes.
