Working with the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance (WYCA), this project uses the Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development (ACCEND) Career pathway, core capabilities in practice and education framework, published 2023, to
Confirm career pathways for aspirant clinical nurse specialists and establish the associated education and core capabilities in practice
Contribute to the redesign of acute oncology pathways and identifying associated workforce development needs
Scope the workforce at all levels and the available education, training and development opportunities across West Yorkshire
