The suitability of protective equipment used by mounted police: A preliminary assessment of Greater Manchester Police

The project will explore the design, fit, and functionality of police personal protective equipment (PPE) worn by police officers within the Mounted Section (e.g. helmet, body armour, jodhpurs, footwear). Initial exploratory discussions have identified the need for a systematic study to be undertaken (the first of its kind) to help co-design and test improved design solutions.
