Abstract

Based on the basic principle of the linear profile filter according to the new generation of GPS standards system, an algorithm for uncertainty propagation of the linear profile filter is put forward. The uncertainty of filtered profile can be derived from the unfiltered profile by calculating the propagation of the uncertainty in case of the filtering process. It turns out that the uncertainty of filtered profile is determined by the uncertainty of the unfiltered profile and the weighting function of the filter. At last, an example of standardized Gaussian filter according to ISO 11562 is given.
