Abstract
The embroidery 'Almost Quiet' is an attempt to map the unseen environment and to pay close attention to the shifting spatial and temporal patterning of ambient sounds. In this process a duet emerges between the mutable, texture, and patterning of my aural terrain with the rhythm, pace, and mobility of my needle.
