Abstract
A co-curated exhibition with June Hill that articulates a series of volunteering based textile craft activities developed in collaboration with InnChurches volunteers and staff and students from the University of Huddersfield since 2010. Exhibits include The Sleeping Bag Project (2010-12), Beyond the Sleeping Bag Project: Home Starter Packs (2014) and the A.B.L.E Aprons Project (2015) [presented in association with the Mission Café in Huddersfield]. The exhibition’s aim is to share the curators’ unique philosophy and insight into the importance of a creative engagement with textile craft related materials and processes in the wider community.
