Abstract
This work continues the thread from Fifth Nature (2021). It explores the aesthetic combination of noise, experimental sound processing, choral and percussive materials, and more cinematic sound design. The aim is to push the boundaries of dark ambient music by integrating sonic elements from other genres and types of sonic thinking. As such the compositional thinking develops Margaret Boden's models of creativity - particularly her thinking around the combinational, exploratory and transformational.
