Abstract
This exhibition brings together a series of works by Clear+Park that use their innovative approach to 3D laser scanning to create narrative works that explore existing spaces either through the creation of ‘analytic’ representations that document the spaces as point-cloud models, or through the manipulation of the point-cloud data to create new ‘synthetic’ spatial possibilities.
Clear+Park use 3D laser scanning to create multidisciplinary works that operate across architecture, installation, and media arts. Clear+Park use 3D scanning to capture spaces and create spatial representations and narratives that engage with, and respond to specific site histories and spatial practices.
The exhibition was an opportunity to premiere a new work based on scans of Virginia Woolf's garden in East Sussex and the novel 'The Waves'. The soundscape for this project has been created by Monty Adkins.
The installation was exhibited 7th August to 28th August 2024 at the Art Space HOSEO, 9 Banpo-daero, Seochu-gu, Seoul 06711, South Korea.
