Child, Parent, Perpetrator or Victim: How should statutory social workers respond to children and families affected by technology-assisted child sexual abuse?

Research output: Contribution to specialist publicationArticle

Abstract

After 16 years working as a social worker in statutory and non-statutory organisations, I have recently embarked on a PhD journey that seeks to answer this question. This research will focus on statutory social workers who carry out duties in accordance with the Children Act 1989. Within this, broader themes, such as of the role of the state in
protecting and intervening in issues of technology assisted child sexual abuse (TA-CSA), will be explored.
