Ciudadanías transnacionales y comunicativas en contextos contemporáneos: acciones político-comunicativas de algunos movimientos sociales de Birmania e Irán

Lo que atrae los ojos de los investigadores, como sucede en este libro sobre los movimientos sociales, son sus nuevas conexiones comunicativas y tecnológicas. No se trata de la preocupación de hace unos años sobre medios y política, sino de dos oportunidades inéditas: la primera, contrastar el significado de los movimientos sociales contemporáneos con los sentidos comunicativos que hoy se tramitan en la sociedad, es decir, la íntima vecindad que existe en nuestros días entre la política y la comunicación, y la segunda, indagar con mayor propiedad el nuevo campo de derechos, ciudadanías, debates y conflictos que compagina a la política con las nuevas tecnologías y sobre todo con el catálogo de sus apropiaciones.

What attracts the eyes of researchers, as in this book on social movements, are their new communication and technological connections. It is not about the concern of a few years ago about media and politics, but about two unprecedented opportunities: the first, to contrast the meaning of contemporary social movements with the communicative meanings that are processed in society today, that is, the intimate neighborhood that exists in our days between politics and communication, and the second, to investigate more properly the new field of rights, citizenships, debates and conflicts that combines politics with new technologies and above all with the catalog of its appropriations.
