Abstract

The exhibition Cohabitation: A manifesto for the Solidarity of Non-Humans and Humans in Urban Space forms the thematic focus and discursive foundation of the project. The exhibition explores the human-animal relationship in the city on the basis of three perspectives, tracing the developments from the Anthropocity to the Ecocity and the future Zoopolis. More than 30 artistic positions scrutinize the ambivalent relationship between humans, nature and animals in the urban context and open up perspectives for the critical examination of prevailing conditions. Three in-depth thematic studies conceptualize and expand on the artistic works
