Research output: Non-textual formDigital or Visual Products

Abstract

Maria Sappho discussed her creative work at the intersection of biology and technology, exploring how fungal networks and artificial intelligence can act as artistic collaborators. She reflected on her practice of building instruments and systems that translate mushroom bio-data into sound, and how these hybrid human–nonhuman collaborations challenge traditional ideas of composition, authorship, and improvisation.
