Abstract
Four different asymmetric double quantum well structures in the dilute magnetic semiconductor system Cd1-xMnxTe have been investigated. Theoretical calculations are presented which show that the observed photoluminescence (PL) and photoluminescence excitation (PLE) energies are consistent with an anticrossing of the lowest two hole states in one of the double quantum well structures when subjected to an external magnetic field.
