Abstract
This study compares several variants of Yagi-Uda antennas for television (TV) reception that can reject ultrahigh frequency (UHF) 5G mobile communication band transmissions. The CST software is used for modeling and simulation. Several design parameters which include radiating element spacings, lengths, corner grid reflector types, and bow-tie directors are considered. These parameters affect the performance of the antenna and its capacity to reject signals in the (UHF) 5G mobile communication band without the use of an external filter. The antenna has a high realized gain of over 16 dBi in the 470 and 694 MHz band of UHF TV broadcasting.
