Abstract

A non-demountable adaptive automatic method of passive low-frequency (0-25 kHz) vibroacoustical diagnostics of gear cracks is presented. The method is based on signal processing of own vibro and acoustic noise of helicopter engine. The method is promising because it follows to prevent the cracks by ascertaining the causes of the high level of vibration excitation.
