Abstract

The untold stories of Manchester Quakers who resisted WW1.

This free exhibition included an overview of the Quaker response to conscription and the eventual conscience clause, biographies of Manchester Quakers who took the decision to object and an installation of textile artwork by Dr Sonja Andrew.
