Abstract

The concept of ‘nD’ is still emerging and will undoubtedly require a mind shift from the traditional approach to modelling in 3D. Education plays a major role in this and the next generation of professionals will be able to make the change if they are equipped with the right skills. School students, particularly at the secondary level, will need to be educated on how the new ‘nD’ approach will help them to understand the design process. This will ensure that the nD concept is targeting the larger community and future constructors, namely school students. This chapter proposes how to customise and exploit existing technology into a 3D:nD modelling game that enables school students to be involved in the design process of their new/refurbished school.
