Abstract

The characteristics of piezoelectric ceramic actuator are introduced, and a piezoelectric actuator based on error amplifier is developed. The series voltage-stabilizing circuit is used to generate DC high voltage of the actuator, and its error feedback voltage is taken directly from the voltage of the controlled piezoelectric ceramic. The system external pole which is brought by the load capacitor is compensated by adding the feedback capacitor and the isolation resistor. The experiment verifies that when load capacitance is 3.13 μF, the actuator's peak output current is up to 700 mA, its dynamic response frequency is 1 kHz, and its output ripple is less than 20 mV. The actuator has good linearity and stability, simple structure and low cost.
