Abstract
A new computerized automatic identification system for bullet traces has been developed. This system uses a new type of micro constant force displacement sensor, which has the characteristics of small and constant measuring force, so it can achieve non-destructive measurement of traces on the surface of the bullet. An improved wavelet analysis method is used to extract signals that reflect the stability characteristics of the firing guns, eliminating boundary distortion, and analyzing the firing traces of warheads at different scales. At the same time, a multi-scale correlation analysis method is proposed, which can be integrated Using the information on each frequency band, it is used to recognize the traces of bullets to obtain a high recognition rate.
