Dual-polarisation feed-forward modulation for RF-over-fibre transmission

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a feedforward modulation technique which utilises polarisation-selective modulation of a dual-polarisation optical signal. We demonstrate generation of a high purity 15 GHz carrier using a 2 GHz modulator.
