Abstract
En los últimos años el trabajo y el empleo han sufrido profundos cambios. Estas transformaciones han modificado las trayectorias laborales de grupos de trabajado-res/as, generalizando las situaciones de inestabilidad y discontinuidad en las mis-mas. El artículo considera que el curso o trayectoria laboral es el resultado de la adaptación pragmática de la persona a los recursos disponibles en los diferentes momentos de cambio o transiciones laborales. A través de un diseño secuencial y del uso integrado de técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas se analiza a través de bio-grafías narrativas el suceso desempleo como potencial punto de inflexión en la trayectoria, así como los recursos utilizados por personas con diferentes perfiles sociales para hacer frente a la situación de desempleo.
