Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify and evaluate the main problems experienced in the ERP postimplementation stage of multinational, privately-owned Egyptian and governmental organizations in Egypt. Data gathering was achieved by means of a set of interviews and online questionnaire conducted to 50 companies implementing ERP in Egypt. The paper presents a descriptive analysis of the difficulties and problems encountered by organizations in Egypt following ERP implementation and how these have contributed to unsuccessful implementation overall.
