Abstract
IOU Labs Presents
Richard Mulhearn: Everything Is Suspended In Movement. Curator and Artist.
Everything Is Suspended In Movement is an evolution of a new work by artist and academic Richard Mulhearn. A series of images seemingly float in a dark space, ever-changing, suspended out of reach. Accompanied by a soundscape, the images shift and move as the connections between them shift and change.
The work comprises 91 projected photographs presented in four sequences, creating a visual space to explore uncertainty in how we see and experience the everyday through photographs. Rather than offering resolution, the images invite curiosity and reflection, where meaning is discovered through looking and feeling.
