Abstract

University of Huddersfield, Paxman Coolers Limited and Primasil Limited showcased the output of a collaborative project that resulted in an innovative scalp-cooling cap at the 2015 MedTec Exhibition, 6 October 2015, Ireland.The project's research, inventive cap development and design, together with the innovative manufacturing processes used was acknowledged by many medical industry leaders and consequently awarded “the top accolade in the Exhibitor Innovations Competition”.
