Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

This exhibition presents a design journey that reimagines the possibilities of community space, resourcefulness, and environmental stewardship. Since 2023, the Sustainable Living Research Centre (SLRC) has focused on the infrastructure, tenure, and engagement issues within community gardens across Kirklees, while simultaneously finding pathways for the better use of industrial waste and innovative end-of-life scenarios for surplus construction material. The exhibition features a scale model and a series of concept drawings for a shelter structure that integrates these key objectives within the SLRC’s programming.
