Abstract

Pd(O2CCH3)2 and ligand L1 = N,N′,N″-tris(6-methyl-2-pyridyl)benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide self-assemble into the trigonal bipyramidal complex [Pd3(L1)2(O2CCH3)6] in solution and the solid state, the latter giving a robust 3-D network structure.
