Flood: Projected Works 2016-2018

Abstract

The photographic sequences presented in this installation investigate image narratives and practices of looking at photography. The title ‘Flood’ alludes to sudden changes in environments and their impact on conventional behaviours. The photographs create a tension between the conscious and the unconscious and create a condition for ‘unreadable’ moments to emerge. The strategies of sequencing deployed in this installation create porous photographic forms.
