Alvina Gillani and Smirti Kataulawith Fairtrade and ethical consumption: Past, present and future; Haseeb Shabbir with Peace Marketing: Mapping the Terrain; Caroline Tynan, Sally McKechnie and Teresa Heath with Sustainable marketing for luxury goods: challenges, contradictions and ways forward; Jenny Lloyd, Darren Lilleker and Fiona Spotswood with Social Movements and Consumer Activism in Politics; Dorothy Yen, and Bidit Dey with Acculturation in the Social Media: a myth or reality? Analysing social media led integration and polarisation. The Doctoral Colloquium hosted by Professor Chanaka Jayawardhena and ably supported by Dr Victoria-Sophie Osburg, was attended by 44 early career researchers and were sponsored by the Marketing Trust to whom we extend our thanks. We are also very grateful to the Doctoral Colloquium mentors, in particular Professor Mike Saren, reviewers and Track Chairs who helped to make the conference such as success.
