Abstract
This work features the combative communication style of Anthony Scaramucci - mimicking President Trump’s expansive gestures – and his invasion of journalist Emily Maitlis’ personal space. The encounter is by turn aggressive and placatory. Brass Art magnified and diffracted the exchange using projection, blown-glass apparatus and shadow to cast and define the ‘neutral’ space of the interview encounter. The work invites the audience to trace the gestural interaction, as Scaramucci transgresses the space of the interview to directly touch Maitlis. Video 4 mins 47 sec
