Abstract

Chinese born, Yorkshire based artist Yan Preston presents film and photography of performative works made in China from her ongoing project exploring the Yangtze River, the country's most iconic waterway. The works re-enact her efforts to be 'one' with the Yangtze, known to Chinese people as the 'Mother River'.
