Abstract
The EMAP Soundgate from the EU funded European Music Archaeology Project has been revised and added to an exhibition MUS-IC-ON! Klang der Antikein, in Würzburg, Germany. Versions of this interactive app are available for PC on large screen, iPad tablet, and VR headset. The app features 3 world heritage sites, caves featuring Palaeolithic paintings from northern Spain, Stonehenge, and Paphos Teathre in Cyprus. These are each reconstructed virtually using digital methods, and reconstructions of their ancient musical and sonic soundscapes are reproduced.
