Abstract

The Klangbrücken 2024 took place from April 26th to May 5th at various locations in Hanover and this year's motto was "Visible Music".
Visible music - this theme illuminates an essential aspect of contemporary music that dissolves the boundaries between art forms. In 10 concerts and several "interventions" in public spaces, the broad spectrum of music unfolds, in which visual and performative aspects play an essential role, for example music (making) as a sound action or theatrical action, imaginary sound theater, music and body, music on the border with the visual arts, etc. The formats of the individual concerts are correspondingly diverse, ranging from film, dance and multimedia performance.
