Abstract

In this short presentation I raise the question of how do men and masculinities fit, or not, into debates, policies and practices on gender equality. This includes recognising the different positive and negative motivations, and related masculinities, for men to become interested and involved in gender equality, including some of their potentials and dangers. I also discuss briefly positive actions that can be taken by men in everyday life, organisational processes, and research content
