Abstract

The Schwulesmuseum's first inter* focused exhibition is dedicated to the past and present of inter* movement(s) in activism, society, art and culture. It explores fragmentary universes and utopias on the topic of intersex issues, which, until now has often been filtered through a gaze of dyadic people. This show features the extraordinary work of Ins A Kromminga, Ev Blaine Matthigack, Adeline Berry, Hiker Chiu, Obioma Chukwuike, Giegold & Weiß, Mauro Cabral Grinspan, Crystal Hendricks, Charan Singh, Sean Saifa Wall, Rae Smith, Mani Mitchell, Del LaGrace Volcano, Sunil Gupta and Gaëlle 'Gelweo' Wolf.
