Abstract
With the occurrence of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, there have been many discussions on the repurposing of existing drugs for the treatment of COVID-19, one of which is the statins. However, there are two opposing views on the effects of statins on the clinical course of COVID-19.
