Music moves us, initiates instant action and is able to release manifold emotions. Depending on the musical influence one’s movements can express various sentiments and mental connections. Students try to consciously perceive these emotions and express the musical impulses with movements throughout their whole bodies. The authors maintain that the combination of music and movement in physical education offers manifold situations to mutually discuss both music and the movement ideas released by it. They present practical options for initiating and creating situations for communication.
